Inter-Operation Time Constraint Definitions
Inter-Operation Time Constraint Definitions (IOTCD) are used to define the earliest and latest time the following operation can start after an operation is completed. This feature ensures correct planning of production scenarios where a certain time must pass between consecutive operations or must be started within a specific time interval.
- Minimum Start Time (Min Time Lag): Defines the minimum time that must pass after an operation is completed before the next operation can start. This way, operations that should not be started early are kept under control.
- Maximum Start Time (Max Time Lag): Determines the latest time the next operation can start after the previous operation ends. This prevents quality, process, or operational risks caused by delays.
- Ensuring Process Compatibility: Thanks to the defined time intervals, waiting times between operations are controlled and the production flow becomes more predictable.
